We Are Boating to Alaska!!!

We are boating to Alaska! We are taking our 22 foot C-Dory cruiser from Edmonds, Washington to Juneau, Alaska this summer. Chris has a small sabbatical from work this year which makes boating there possible. We will also be staying in Juneau for a while so Chris can “work from home”. During that time we will take the boat out on some weekend trips, then we will head home. This is a trip that is a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to go to Alaska and boating has become a huge love for Chris and I and the kids too. 

The fun part of planning has been reading other boater’s trip reports, and learning a lot about the geography of SouthEast Alaska, finding where there is fuel and water and supplies; learning where we can shower and do laundry. Narrowing down places we really want to see and things we really want to do.

We are excited for this adventure and would love for people to follow along with us on our trip!
